My son Sasha is in the 8/9th Grade. He enjoys the school very much. The school encompasses the disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Geography, Russian and French. The teachers teach on a high level. Each teacher finds individual approach to every single student depending on his level of knowledge.

One of the biggest achievements of the school is that my son has changed his attitude to towards lessons; he is very responsible now and always tries his best doing the homework and preparing for tests. His French increased significantly, and my son loves science because the teaching is done in a very attractive way, using movies and different experiments. It is a great school.

My son ( Gr. 7 ) participated in 4 classes of Discovery Academy during 2008-2009 school year. The teachers have my greatest respect and strong recommendations based on their learning program that they developed and delivered. I’ve seen Discovery in action and it is energetic, imaginative, extraordinary creative and inspiring to youngsters. These range from Geography and ecological problems to advanced level of Algebra and Science changed my son’s mind towards education and life in general. He became interested in Science, and met very good friends and improved his marks at school drastically.

Each Saturday my kids tell me what they were learning at Discovery Academy and I should say that I strongly support the teachers approach to open the window to the ” big world” for students. They try to provide not just knowledge, but to expand student’s awareness about the nature and to form an ethical world view to our kids. The lessons are having a significant and very positive impact on the mind development of youth.
