MATH Tutoring IQ Development CRAZY History
Science ALIVE Arts as a key to the world ESL all LEVELS TOEFL/IELTS
Math tutoring program: available for all grades on a weekly basis from 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. We will make math clear and comprehensible for you again.
Advanced Math & IQ classes: the program gives your child an opportunity to become involved in an enrichment math program with advanced methodology for all grades and levels. Children are taught using dynamic explanations, logical game elements, and a creative atmosphere.
Our program strengthens mathematical intuition, logical reasoning and ingenuity. This year our students participated in a Canadian Math competition and ALL of our students’ scores EXCEED the Canadian average (There were 50 000 participants in the 2011 competition).
Science Alive: new program in which students will work with digital microscopes and other scientific devices. Kids will learn how to make "water" into a "stone", turn penny into a "dime", glass into a mirror. The older students will undertake research in biology, chemistry and physics fields which will show them how beautiful and intriguing the world of Science is, and prepare them for higher education.
Crazy History: our classes are extended. World history, the history of geographical discoveries, the lives of great people will be given to our students in new, exciting, and fascinating forms. How would you like the questions like: “What if the British did not have Native allies in Canada? Who really murdered President Lincoln? Why did Isaac Newton work at the Royal Mint? What would happen if Christopher Columbus never sailed? What do Winston Churchill and penicillin have in common? How did a severed ear start a war? Who really did send an expedition to the centre of the Earth and why?” History doesn't have to be serious and stuffy - it can be fun and crazy as well! In our course we look at history from a whole new angle! Through active discussions, multimedia presentations, alternative history exercises, role-playing, and engaging lectures, our kids can discover the fun in history, become a better reader, and develop their vocabulary, and critical thinking skills!
"Arts as a key to the world": All forms of Art originate in the flow of historical events as an effort to understand objective reality. Visual Arts, Literature, Music and Drama are keys to the evolution of human mind. In this program students will be exposed to well-known artworks and will learn to discuss, analyze and decipher their underlying concepts and symbolic meaning. This course is will challenge you to think, and help you navigate the cultural currents of human civilization!
ESL for ALL levels: Do you need to improve your language skills? Do you feel uncertain when using your grammar? Not really sure about your listening skills? If you need any kind of help with your English as a second language, do not hesitate to join our ESL classes. Students of all ages are welcomed! Placement test and needs assessment are prerequisites.
TOEFL / IELTS preparation courses:Proficiency language tests are required if you are not a native speaker, but want to enter University and have professional development in Canada. Take the preparation course, prepare for your future! Placement test is required. We are certified TOEFL centre! We’ll help you to be ready for test!
